The Vax Switch Steam Cleaner is a multi-function, multi-purpose cleaning tool which transforms quickly from a steam mop into a hand-held cleaning appliance. The dynamic nature of this cleaner means it's capable of cleaning hard surfaces such as tiles, ceramic, hardwood and vinyl, and also intricate fixtures and fittings in the kitchen and bathroom. It comes with an accessory kit which includes a microfibre pad, a carpet glider, a precision tool, a soft scrub brush and a 360 degree connector to add more scope.

In its steam mop form, it manoeuvres effortlessly into narrow spaces, and around tight corners/edges. It uses what Vax call "Steamflow Technology" which essentially means that the steam is distributed evenly across the entire microfibre floor pad. As a hand-held cleaner, it's capable of tackling greasy ovens, hobs, taps, tiles, etc. The 360 degree connector allows the orienting of the attachments at any angle, therefore allowing for an easier clean.
