Philips FastCare Compact Steam Generator Iron Review

The Philips FastCare Steam Generator Iron is compact, lightweight and allows for the quick and easy removal of tough creases on the thickest of fabrics, including denim. It's available in three colours - Blue, Purple and Deep Purple. It's also capable of providing a vertical iron, which is ideal for hanging clothes, and ironing curtains without having to take them down.

The soleplate (underneath of the iron) is made from a ceramic material. Such a material is durable and allows for a smooth glide. It's scratch resistant too. The steam output is powerful with 110g per minute of continuous steam, and a 220g boost. The pressure is a large 5.2 bar, which is impressive considering its compact size. The water tank is 1.3 litres.
