The Philips PerfectCare Elite Plus Steam Generator Iron is a premium and top of the range steam generator iron. With a high steam output, boost and pump pressure, this steam generator iron is capable of easily removing creases from the thickest and toughest of fabrics. The OptimalTEMP sensor automatically adjusts the iron's thermostat in order to provide the heat necessary for removing tough creases, but without burning. • T-ionicGlide Soleplate - The ionic soleplate facilitates a smooth glide. It's also scratch resistant and comes with a safe carry lock to allow it to be easily moved and safely stored.
• Large Water Tank - The water tank is a large 1.8 litres. Its large size means that it doesn't need to be filled as often.
• Kills Up To 99.9% Of Bacteria - The iron was tested by an external body. They found that steaming for 1 minute resulted in up to 99.9% of bacteria being killed. More specifically, it killed up to 99.9% of bacteria types Escherichia coli 8099, Staphylococcus aureus. ATCC 6538 and Candida albicans ATCC 10231.
