Breville PressXpress Steam Iron Review

The Breville PressXpress Steam Iron is a high performance appliance. It's available in four colours - Blue, Grey & Rose Gold, Purple and White & Satin Gold. Different colours have slightly different steam boosts, ranging from 170-200g per minute. In each case it's capable of tackling tough creases in hard wearing fabrics such as denim and linen. The iron's power is 2600W.

The PressXpress has a well designed soleplate. It's made from a ceramic material and is super-wide. It facilitates a multi-directional 360 degree use, allowing you to remove creases quickly, especially given its smoothness. It also has a precision tip. One feature we particularly like is the soft-grip handle, allowing for extended periods of comfortable ironing.

• Anti-Drip - The iron's design is anti-drip to minimise water marks on clothes.
• Long Power Cable - The power cable is 3 metres long.
• Large Water Tank - The water tank's capacity is 400ml. It has an easy fill hole which reduces the chance of spillages.
• Self-Clean - The iron cleans itself as it goes, flushing out limescale to stop it building up. Removing limescale in this manner helps to extend the iron's operational lifespan and also helps to maintain its performance over time.
• Automatic Shut Off - If left unattended or knocked over, the iron will switch itself off.
