The Philips Powerlife Steam Iron is a high performance steam iron by the global appliance brand Philips. There are four models available - Blue & White, Black, Grey and Black & Rose Gold. Each of them have slightly different continuous steam outputs (either 40g or 45g per minute), and different steam boosts (140g, 170g or 200g per minute). In all cases, the iron is capable of quickly removing creases, allowing you to breeze through piles of laundry.

The soleplate is a "SteamGlide Plus" - a Philips speciality. It consists of a 5 layer coating with an anti-corrosive base to make it more durable. It's also non-stick, scratch resistant and easy to keep clean. The tank is 300-320ml depending on the model, and has an extra large filling hole for a spill-free refill. There's also an in-built limescale collection system to extend the iron's operational lifespan.
