The Russell Hobbs Powersteam Ultra Steam Iron is a smooth gliding, variable steam, self-cleaning steam iron. It has a ceramic soleplate to facilitate an effortless glide, as well as being durable. The steam control function is as simple as lifting the iron off of the fabric and pressing the steam button. The standard continuous output is 45g per minute, and the boost output is 210g per minute.

One feature we particularly like in the Russell Hobbs Powersteam Ultra Steam Iron is its vertical steam capability. It can therefore freshen up and remove creases from hanging clothes, curtains and other upholstery. This is a big time saver on curtains especially. Russell Hobbs tested the Powersteam against some of their older models, and found that the Powersteam is up to 15% faster and up to 50% smoother.
