The Russell Hobbs Supreme Steam Traditional Iron is a fast and efficient steam iron which allows you to speed through piles of washing quickly, whilst effectively removing creases. It has a number of features to help with this. First of all there's a spray function to moisten clothes, allowing for tougher and more ingrained creases to be flattened out with ease. The steam output is high, between 40g and 42g per minute depending on the exact model. The steam boost is 110g per minute.

The soleplate (underneath of the iron) is made from stainless steel. It's a non-stick material which provides a smooth glide. The distribution of steam holes on the soleplate ensure that steam is output evenly. The iron is also capable of ironing vertically. This is useful for hanging curtains, clothes, duvets, bed sheets, etc. It's particularly useful for curtains as you can remove creases without having to take them down.
