The Tefal Ultimate Anti-Scale Steam Iron is a high performing iron. It features a special soleplate known as a "Durilium Airglide and Autoclean" soleplate. Such a soleplate has steam holes down the sides and on the tip which are designed to provide an even distribution of steam. It also has a highly durable enamel coating which protects it when running over zips/buttons. The soleplate offers minimal resistance and facilitates a smooth and convenient glide.

The iron's steam output is high, with 55g per minute of continuous steam which will take care of most creases. It has a steam boost of 230g per minute which is handy for removing tougher creases, and is particularly useful on harder fabrics such as denim. The iron is also capable of working vertically, making it perfect for hanging suits, and freshening up curtains.
